Because we have a continuous enrolment from Sep – February we do not count empty assignment/test/quiz grades as zeros to allow students to start from a position of success. For term 3 we change this to include empty grades so students know exactly what their standing is in their courses as we approach June. The same situation occurs in July for our spring semester.
